I was proud to create this doula logo design and brand identity for Shannon. She started Circle of Support because she believes birth should be about supporting the mother in pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.
This project is near to me because I truly believe in the benefits of a doula as part of your birth support circle. I have had this wonderful support from Shannon for the birth of both of my children.
The circle concept is really beautiful, as it takes inspiration from elephants in nature. When a mother elephant gives birth, the other females in the herd form a circle around her. It is inspiring to see females providing support and protection to other females. It just seems natural.
